Cairo - The discovery of Zohr gas field will not only help improve the energy sector but also the Egyptian economy as a whole, the OPEC secretary general said on Tuesday. OPEC looks forward to Egypt's joining to the oil production limiting agreement, Mohammed Barkindo told a conference on the sidelines of London's International Petroleum Week. "Yes, we would like to see Egypt to be part of the agreement," Barkindo said. On December 10, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries met non-OPEC nations in Vienna, seeking their help in curbing a global oil supply glut in a bid to boost prices.
