Syrian-Lebanese borders - Not only they had to depart from their mother land, Syria, due to ongoing war since 2011, but Syrian newborn infants in refugee camps in neighbouring countries face a bleak and uncertain future because they are not entitled to formal birth certificates which threaten to waste their basic rights, e.g., education and nationalization. In Lebanon, the sum of 36 thousands Syrian children live in makeshift camps in dire circumstances on the Syrian-Lebanese borders without any valid papers that register them as citizens. This is due to the loss of their parents' legal papers during immigration from Syria.
