East Tanta prosecution office renewed Saturday detention period of six Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist group members for 15 days pending investigations in Gharbia governorate, Al Bawaba News reported. The suspects are charged with riots, violence, disturbing public peace, protesting without authorities' permission as stated by law, and participating in anti-government march in Zefta, Samannoud and El Mahalla centers. Meanwhile, west Tanta prosecution office renewed detention period of four MBs for 15 days pending investigations in riots and violence related crimes. These suspects are also charged with establishing a terrorist cell with the aim of targeting power transformers and booby-trapping the railway tracks and high pressure towers. Also, the suspects are accused of possessing explosives and electric cables used in manufacturing of explosives, in Kafr El Zayat and Basyoun centers.
