Archaeological committee visited St. Mary Church in Cairo's Maadi district in the framework of Antiquities Ministry's efforts to list the archaeological sites passed by the Holy family during their visit to Egypt, Al Bawaba News reported on Sunday. The committee's mission is to register a number of archaeological churches and Coptic sites passed by the Holy family on the basis of documented scripts and traces in addition to the individuality of the building. Earlier, committee has qualified 14 Coptic sites to be under researches including several monasteries in Wadi Natroun upon which a report to be sent to UNESCO to be supplemented to sites which were used by the Holy family during their sacred voyage.
