Giza Criminal Court will consider Thursday trial of 379 Muslim Brotherhood (MB) defendants in Nahda Sqaure sit-in dispersal case, Al-Bawaba News reported. The defendants face charges of inciting violence, assaulting civilians, blocking roads and targeting public and private properties. They also face charges of assaulting police and army personnel as well as seizing weapons in order to spread chaos. The MB group that has been designated as a terror organization by Egyptian authorities, staged an armed sit-in at Nahda Sqaure, Giza to reinstate ousted Mohamed Morsi, who was removed from power July 2013 amid mass street protests.
