Egypt's Luxor ended Saturday preparations to welcome the first direct flight from Japan to Luxor, carrying 230 Japanese passengers, Al Bawaba News reported. Governor of Luxor, Mohamed Badr ensured that preparations were at the maximum readiness to welcome the governorate's first charter flight between Japan's Osaka Airport and Luxor airport, after a suspension of charter flights between the two sides, which lasted for more than three years. The Japanese tourists are expected to stay onboard one of the floating hotels during their stay, which will last for three days, during which they will visit Luxor's touristic and archaeological sites.
