German ambassador to Egypt, George Julius praised Monday, during a visit to the southern temple city of Luxor, Egypt's efforts to secure airports ahead of possible return of tourism, Al-Bawaba News reported. Julius said the direct charter flights from Germany are continuously made and the number of German tourists is on the increase. The ambassador had met with the Governor of Luxor, Mohamed Badr to discuss several topics including economic diversity in work, ways to develop Upper Egypt governorates and how to support the Egyptian economy. The ambassador had toured a number of archaeological and tourist areas. "20% of the world's monuments are found in Luxor" he said.
