Canal Suez Authority announced Monday that 57 Ships weighing 3.2 million tons crossed through the canal in the last two days, Al-Bawaba News reported. It pointed out that 28 ships weighing 1.6 million tons have crossed through the north of the canal, adding that 29 ships weighing 1.6 million tons have crossed through the south. The largest ship crossed the canal from the north of the canal was the Panamanian ship "MSC SVEVA" coming from Spain, heading to Malaysia weighing 196 thousand tons, while the largest ship to cross from the south was the Danish "MAREN MAERSK" weighing 200 thousand tons.
