Head of Suez Canal Authority, Mohab Mamish announced that 97 ships have crossed through the Suez Canal over the past two days, Youm7 News reported Friday. Mamish pointed out that 38 ships have crossed through the north of the canal, while 59 ships have crossed through the south side, with an overall weight of six million and 184 thousand tons. He added that the largest ship, which crossed through the canal, is the Danish container ship ‘EVELYN MAERSK' weighing 171 thousand tons, coming from Netherlands and heading to Singapore.
