President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi welcomed Monday Iraqi President Fuad Masum and his accompanying delegation to presidential headquarters in Cairo, Al Bawaba News reported. The two presidents held a bilateral meeting, followed by extended talks in the presence of the Iraqi delegation. Al Sisi stressed during the meeting, on the privacy of the historical and distinguished relations between both countries and peoples. The president pointed out that Egypt's keenness on strengthening these relations in various fields, especially the political, economic and cultural relations. Al Sisi explained that Egypt supports the unity and sovereignty of the Iraqi state on its entire territory, adding that his country is fully committed to support all efforts to restore security and stability in Iraq, particularly in light of the current security challenges, which faces Iraq.
