Minister of Culture Helmy al-Namnam and Governor of the Red Sea decided to annually establish the Hurghada International Film Festival on the second week of February in order to be synchronized with the province's national day celebration, Al-Bawaba News reported Monday. Al-Namnam stated that during the upcoming days he will form a committee to manage the festival preparations. The festival comes in the lights of the minister's efforts to establish international festivals in tourist destination cities to activate and support the Egyptian tourism. The first session is scheduled to launch in 2017.
