British Ambassador in Cairo, John Casson affirmed Tuesday that Britain and Egypt are working together in order to restore the tourist flows to Egypt, Al-Masry Al-Youm reported. Casson's statements followed his meeting with Egypt's Minister of Tourism, Hisham Zazou, when they discussed the bilateral plan to resume flights between UK and Sharm El Sheikh. "Britain was the first country that took preventive measures, and it will be the first country to help in finding a solution," Casson said, affirming that the UK will resume its flights to the Red Sea resort as soon as possible. UK has suspended its flights to Sharm El Sheikh following the crash of the Russian plane over Sinai on October 31.
