Egyptian military announced Thursday that the army and police killed 86 militants and arrested in North Sinai since the beginning of Martyr's Right operation that was launched on Monday against terrorist groups, Al Bawaba News reported. The army also destroyed 13 vehicles, 67 motorcycles, terrorists' hideouts and tunnels, as well as defusing 24 improvised explosive devices planted by terrorists on North Sinai's Arish, Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid cities. Since September 2013, the Egyptian army has been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against terrorist groups in Sinai after they claimed responsibility for several deadly attacks targeting Egyptian military and police personnel.
