President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi met Tuesday with members of the Presidential Council for Economic Development to discuss a number of new projects, Al Bawaba News reported. Presidential spokesperson Alaa Yousef said that the council members reviewed the new taken executive steps in the framework of the thousand factories project in New Cairo. Yousef added that Sisi stressed during the meeting on the importance of modernizing the Egyptian industrial bases in order to increase the reliance on local products as well as establishing many of industries that will providing employment opportunities for youth. The spokesperson added that Sisi and council members discussed several proposals related to the development of the national industry especially in food and mining fields.
