Egyptian army killed Monday four militants in North Sinai's Sheikh Zuweid city, Al Bawaba News reported. Security sources said that the army had launched several airstrikes by Apache jet fighters targeting terrorist cell in Sheikh Zuweid, killing four militants. The source added that the army arrested 28 suspects during several security raids in Sheikh Zuweid and Arish cities. Since September 2013, the Egyptian army has been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against terrorist groups in Sinai after they claimed responsibility for several deadly attacks targeting Egyptian military and police personnel.
