Egyptian army kills 5 militants in Sinai

The Egyptian army killed Monday five militants and arrested 10 suspects in North Sinai's Arish and Sheikh Zuweid cities, Al Bawaba News reported.
A security source said that the army raided a number of terrorist sites in Sinai, killing five militants as well as destroying two buildings related to the extremist militias.
Since September 2013, the Egyptian army has been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against terrorist groups in Sinai after they claimed responsibility for several deadly attacks targeting Egyptian military and police personnel.
