The Salloum Border Crossing, western Egypt, received 699 Egyptians over the past 24 hours, returning from Libya, including 198 who left the country illegally, Matrouh security director, Major General Anani Hamouda told Youm7 newspaper Saturday. The 198 Egyptians who left the country illegally did not have any papers, but security forces allowed them to enter the country after checking their identities and criminal records, Hamouda said. Meanwhile, 501 people have left the country legally and therefore, had their papers done in no time.
