The Salloum border crossing, western Egypt, received 194 Egyptians over the past 24 hours, fleeing the turmoil in Libya, Al Bawaba News reported Friday. Matrouh Security Director, Gen. Al Anany Hamouda confirmed the number of returnees approximately reached 194 Egyptians, 119 of them holding valid visas while 75 had infiltrated Libya illegally. The total number of Egyptian returnees from Libya has reached 38263 since February 16, 2015, following Egyptian airstrikes on IS militants' strongholds in Libya, in retaliation for the execution of 21 Egyptians.
