Egypt lists Brotherhood leaders as 'terrorist'
Egypt's Attorney-General Hesham Barakat on Sunday included top leader of the Muslim Brotherhood group Mohamed Badie in a newly-minted national terrorism list.
Sixteen other Brotherhood leaders were included in the same list in the light of Egypt's recently-approved Terrorist Entities Law, according to state television.
The television said the Brotherhood leaders included the former leader of the Muslim Brotherhood Mohamed Mahdi Akef and the head of the Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party Saad al-Katatni, a former parliament speaker.

16 killed in traffic crash in upper Egypt
At least 16 people were killed and seven others were injured on Sunday evening in a deadly collision of three vehicles on a highway in Upper Egypt's Sohag province, official MENA news agency reported.
The crash took place as a passenger microbus, a truck and a mini-pickup collided at the Red Sea-Sohag highway and they all fell into a nearby depression, said Mohamed Abdel-Aal, Health Ministry's Undersecretary in Sohag, noting that civil protection forces helped ambulances to pick up the bodies.
The official added that the seven injured passengers, including two children, were taken to the nearby Sohag University Hospital and that they suffered bruises and fractures.

Egypt Uncovers 'Longest Tunnel' from Sinai to Gaza
Egyptian border guards claimed to have uncovered a 2.8 km-long tunnel under the yards of three homes in Rafah, near the Gaza border.
Egyptian military sources told the Bethlehem-based Ma'an news agency that the tunnel was three meters underground and was being used to smuggle people, ammunition, weapons and goods.
The sources further said it was the longest tunnel uncovered between Egypt and the Gaza Strip since the start of operations near the border to crack down on smuggling.
