Art Talks Cairo 8 Al-Kamel Mohamed St, Zamalek, Tel 02 2736 3948 Art Talks Egypt presents “Art-to-Wear”, in collaboration with Dina Al-Missiry who designs new capsule collection. It is an artistic collaboration between Egyptian contemporary art and fashion design. Art Talks is the art platform for this unique venue / fashion show which will primarily showcase Al-Missiry's artistic garments, depicting the paintings of renowned Egyptian contemporary artists such as Guirguis Lotfy, Hady Boraey, Eman Osama, Hossam Dirar, and Riham El Saadani. Al-Missiry is collaborating with famous painters to embolden her collection with statement designs to be worn and coveted rather than hung on the wall. The concept of this exciting event is to create a posh environment to enjoy a top-of-the-line show and have the opportunity to wear the looks and interact with the designer. Expect to spend a luxurious evening immersed in the latest and most sought after ready-to-wear pieces all while sipping bubbly cocktails. Dina El Missiry founded her Ready-to-Wear label in 2015. Her fashionable clothing collections are very much inspired by Egyptian culture and fabrics, while enriching them with a personalized twist. Dina offers the type of bright and playful pieces that feel utterly modern and hip (27 September from 6 to 10pm).

Contemporary Image Collective (CIC) 22 Abdel Khalek Tharwat St, 4th Floor, Downtown, Cairo, Tel 02 2396 4272 “The Contents of the Grocery Bag”, is Mohammed Allam's solo exhibition which is a multimedia installation that extends over the different rooms of our exhibition space. The installation is based on an extensive collection of video, text and sound materials that the artist filmed and collected throughout the past two years. It combines moving images with contemporary dance and choreography. The camera, maneuvered by the artist, engages with improvised dance performances by collaborators Mako Kubeck, Kae Kubo, Mona Gamil and Hussam Jaduo that Allam invited to work on the project with him. Landscape archaeology in Delta sites is the main focus of the exhibition which documents archaeological missions in a different way. The exhibition contains mixture of photographs showing archaeology and landscape. It hosts two non-Deltaic sites (closing30 September).
