Sun 10, 8pm: The Suez Canal cities celebrate the 20th anniversary of Al Henna band from Suez and Al Waziry band from Ismailia with a concert at and will share the stage with Al Tanboura band from Port Said that celebrated its 25th anniversary last December. The folklore of the Canal cities is rich, not only with the resistance songs which gave the Canal people the strength to stand against their enemies, but with songs of the sea, songs of love and Sufi songs. The three bands will showcase this heritage with a diversity of songs. Al-Warsha theatre troupe will also join them and perform some of these songs.
