Egypt's national football team will play a friendly match against Bosnia on 5 March amid the Pharaohs preparations for the 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
"We have reached an initial agreement to play against Bosnia in Vienna on 5 March," the Egyptian football association (EFA) Chief Executive Sarwat Swelam told Ahram Sport on Wednesday.
"The EFA board is waiting for the financial offer to sign the final contract of the match with the sponsor next week," he added.
Bosnia clash will be the first for Egypt team under the guidance of new coach Shawky Gharib who was appointed as the successor of American manager Bob Bradley last December.
Egypt, winner of a record seven African Cup of Nations (CAN) trophies, failed to reach the 2014 World Cup in Brazil after losing 7-3 to Ghana on aggregate last month.
Bradley has been sacked after failing to see the Egyptians into the World Cup.
The 54-year-old, Gharib, has been entrusted to lead the team in the 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifiers and the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
