Egypt's minister of health, Hala Zayed, and social solidarity, Ghada Wali, visited the injured victims of the Minya bus terror attack at Sheikh Zayed Hospital early on Saturday. On Friday, gunmen opened fire on a bus carrying Coptic Christians to Saint Samuel the Confessor monastery in Upper Egypt's Minya, leaving seven killed and 10 others injured. All injuries were first transported to local Minya hospitals, but were then transported to Cairo's 6th of October Sheikh Zayed hospital. Zayed said in brief statements on Saturday to state TV that all injured victims conditions are stable. She added that some have undergone surgeries and will be released soon from the hospital. Meanwhile Wali, who was on the same visit with Zayed, told state TV that her ministry will start work as soon as the patients are dispatched. Wali also stressed that her ministry is following up with the victim's families to ensure that all their needs are met. Security forces are currently searching for the unknown gunmen who carried out the terror attack, the sources said.
