Egypt will witness a temporary increase in temperature, reaching 36 degrees centigrade in Cairo on Monday, Wahid Saudi, spokesperson for the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA), told Al-Ahram Arabic news website. The warm weather will also be prevalent nationwide on Monday, reaching highs of 31 in Alexandria, 37 in Suez and Upper Egypt's Luxor, 36 in Hurghada. However, the temperature will begin decreasing again on Tuesday when cooler weather conditions will prevail, said Saudi, warning Egyptians not to do away with winter clothing. The weather is expected to drop to highs of 31 in Cairo on Tuesday and 25 in Alexandria. Egypt has recently seen unstable weather, swinging between brief heat waves followed by cold, and sometimes rainy and windy climate, which characterises the spring season in the country. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/128153.aspx
