Abdel Fattah's appeal rejected

The Misdemeanor Court in Nasr City refused an appeal submitted by activist and blogger Alaa Abdel Fattah to end his detainment.
Abdel Fattah is charged with assaulting military personnel, stealing automatic weapons belonging to the armed forces, and incitement to violence against the military.
Bahaa Saber, an activist and member of the Kefaya movement, stood in front of a military court in the same case.
Saber is accused of damaging public institutions, stealing weapons, and incitement to murder.
