CAIRO: The professor of political science at the Suez Canal University, Dr. Gamal Zahran, expressed his support for the strike, organized by the different political parties in Tahrir Square, to achieve the revolution demands. He believes the ruling military council and Egypt's government view the revolution as an "out-burst" that will end without achieving notable results. Zahran clarified the government doesn't represent the revolution and deal with the demonstrations as an ordinary event that could be transcended. He said the government's vision to the Egyptian's demands pose a serious threat to Egypt and will lead to organizing more strikes in Tahrir. Zahran said there are many objectives the revolution hasn't achieved yet, such as cancelling the Shoura Council, establishing a new constitution to cope with Egypt's regional and international position and establishing revolution courts to prosecute the figures of the former regime.
