Hope said the annul trade volume between Egypt and Denmark exceeded $245 million. Egypt's annual imports from Denmark reached $188 million, while Egyptian annual exports to Denmark reached $56 million. Danish ships are the most ships that cross the Suez Canal, making Egypt in turn earn a lot of money. Also, Danish tourists notably increased during the last five years but the number was reduced due to the revolution. However, according to Hope, the influx of Danish tourists is starting to increase. He added that Egypt's economic development encourages foreign investors to enter Egyptian markets.
