Zamalek assistant manager Ismail Youssef says he knows nothing about what was published by the club's official website claiming that midfielder Shikabala has made a written apology to the management. Zamalek's website zamaleksc.org. posted a statement on Tuesday quoting Shikabala as apologizing to the club fans, board and management for his infamous rant at manager Hassan Shehata back in May. However, coach Youssef says he has yet to learn about the news. “We know nothing about such an alleged apology," Zamalek's second man told FilGoal.com. “The board did not inform us and Shikabala himself did not follow up with us. “If we received something like that on Wednesday we shall look into it and then decide." It was rumored that Zamalek are considering pardoning their beleaguered star man ahead of this month's Cairo derby clash with Ahli. Shikabala, who is currently loan-listed, has yet to receive a genuine offer despite unofficial interest from several clubs of late.
