League leaders Harras Hodoud extended their winning streak to nine games as they edged out Bani Suef Telephones 3-2 in a thrilling Egyptian league affair in Alexandria. The military outfit took the lead through Egypt international Ahmed Eid on 17 minutes before striker Ahmed Mekki made it two in the 45th minute. Mostafa Mehanna pulled one back for Telephones at the stroke of half-time as Ahli loanee Ahmed Shokri restored parity 11 minutes into the second half. Striker Ahmed Abdul-Ghani grabbed the decisive winner as late as the 88th minute to earn his side all three points. Hodoud cemented their position at the summit with 28 points, four points clear of second-placed Police Union and five ahead of defending champions Ahli, who have two games in hand.
