Ahli new signing Hossam Ghaly is over the moon after rejoining his old club from Saudi giants Nassr. The Egypt midfielder was snapped up by the league champions on Tuesday, signing on a free transfer after terminating his Nassr contract. After ending speculation around his future, Ghaly indicated that Ahli was an easy choice for him. "I am very happy to be back with Ahli; the club where I belong. I even spent more time here than with my family, so it was a natural choice" Ghaly told Ahli's official site. "My spell in Saudi Arabia was definitely useful, but I am really fed up with life away from home. I always wanted to be back to Cairo. "Fans were usually asking me to return and I have been in continuous link with Ahli officials in recent weeks. So I signed without paying much attention to financial details. "I have high ambitions with Ahli and I hope to help the club reach the World Cup in the UAE by winning the Champions League." Ghaly was targeted by Zamalek this summer, but declared he would never play for any club in Egypt but Ahli.
