Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola said it's hard to determine who will be the Primera Liga Shoo-ins as there is a long way to go this season. The Catalans claimed a 2-0 win over Recreativo Huelva on Sunday to ensure their place on top of the league table with 28 points, three ahead of second-placed Villarreal. Although his side chalked up a host of emphatic victories during this season, including nine in the last nine games, Guardiola believes it would be premature to regard Barca as the title frontrunners. "The three points strengthened our position considerably, but no team wins the championship in November, opponents can still overtake us," Guardiola told Barcelona's official website. When asked about the match, the former Barcelona and AS Roma player said his side were up to scratch, but not quite consistent throughout the encounter. "The game, as I expected, was very balanced. Generally speaking, the team felt fine, and played with the right criteria." "When we went a goal up, we eased off a bit and that meant Recreativo had a couple of chances to score" he said. Guardiola also lauded Recreativo's backline and the team's overall performance. "They have let in very few goals and are always well positioned on the field”. "You never know how a game will develop. We knew that Recreativo are hard to face, they are a well-organized team, and I'd like to congratulate them on the good game they played."
