Romania defender Christian Chivu is confident that his country will beat Holland on Tuesday to reach the quarter finals of the EURO 2008. Romania are second of the group with two points and need to secure the three points against the Dutch to ensure their qualification regardless of the result between France and Italy. “We want to win against Holland and in this way send Italy and France packing,” Chivu told Calcio Italia. There has been a war-of-words going on in the past few days as the World Cup finalists were questioning the Dutch integrity. “I know the mentality of the Dutch very well. They simply aren't capable of this sort of thing,” commented the Romania defender. Chivu made a huge impact with Ajax before joining Roma and then Inter Milan.
