Turkey coach Fatih Terim was left elated by Arda Turan's killer goal against Switzerland in Tuesday's 2-1 win. The 21-year-old winger stunned the co-hosts with a 92nd minute strike, as his manager tips him to be one of the best in Europe. "He is a very important player, very talented. He needs to improve his stamina during a game, but if he does he will be one of the most outstanding players in Europe," said the Turkey coach. "There were a lot of good performances in a very difficult game, but overall Arda Turan made not only a good performance but also scored a very, very decisive goal. It was the match-winning performance and because of that, we have chosen him." Turkey face Czech Republic next week, knowing that a draw would force them into a penalty shootout with the Czechs, who have the same goal record. Life Goes on Switzerland manager Jakob Kuhn could not hide his frustration after the heartbreaking defeat, but is adamant that it is not the end of the world for the Swiss. "The party will go on, no doubt about it, Switzerland is a multicultural country, there are enough Germans, Portuguese, French, Italians living here," he said. "It will remain a wonderful party and I'm sure the Swiss will not hold back and celebrate as best they can. And they deserve to celebrate. I am very disappointed but life goes on. Kuhn is set to lead Switzerland for the last time against Portugal, as he will make way for German Ottmar Hitzfeld after the finals.
