Former Egypt Captain Hosam Hassan has been appointed as Masri, on Thursday, to take over from Juan Alves who was sacked on Wednesday. "Hossam Hassan is the new manager, Tarek Soliman will be his assistant while Ibrahim Hassan has been named director of football," Masri president Sayed Metwali announced on Thursday. The Port Said-based side lost to Suez Cement 1-0, on Wednesday, to drop to the fourteenth place of the table with only 16 points. Hassan is Masri's third coach this season after Helmi Toulan, dismissed in November and Portuguese Juan Alves.
