United too strong for Dinamo
Published in FilGoal on 23 - 10 - 2007

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Manchester United romped to an easy 4-2 away victory over Dinamo Kiev in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
Rio Ferdinand broke the deadlock early in the first-half before Wayne Rooney added the second shortly after.
Diogo Rincon reduced the deficit but a brace from Cristiano Ronaldo ensured United maintained their 100% record in Europe's premier competition. Ismael Bangoura scored a late consolation for Dinamo.
The Red Devils are in charge of Group F with nine points, three clear of second-placed AS Roma, who beat Sporting Lisbon 2-1.
Portugal's Sporting are third on three points while Dinamo are virtually out as they remain pointless at the bottom.
Kiev's resistance lasted for just 10 minutes as Ferdinand notched the opener when he rose to powerfully head home Ryan Giggs' free-kick from the right.
England international Rooney doubled the lead 10 minutes later with an easy tap-in after being fed by a low cross from Wes Brown, who was released by Ronaldo's through pass.
Rincon pulled one back for the hosts in the 34th minute, heading Carlos Correa's corner into the net despite Ronaldo's effort to clear the ball off the line.
Portuguese winger Ronaldo added the third four minutes before the break, finishing off Giggs' brilliant individual effort.

Roma secure precious win
The veteran winger raced down the left flank, dribbled past a Sporting defender and sent a pinpoint cross to Ronaldo for a free header past keeper Olexandr Shovkovskiy.
Anderson almost notched the fourth five minutes after re-start but his low shot was denied by the post.
The in-form Ronaldo heaped more misery on Dinamo eight minutes past the hour mark as he converted a penalty after Goran Gavrancic handled Carlos Tevez's cross inside the area.
Guinea's Bangoura narrowed the gap 12 minutes from time after firing a low bullet past Edwin van der Sar, but his strike proved just a consolation.
In the other group game, Roma battled to earn a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Sporting Lisbon at home.
Brazilian defender Juan headed the hosts in front on the quarter-hour mark, capitalizing on a dreadful marking from Sporting defenders.
Liedson leveled the score three minutes later after powering a header into the net after connecting with Abdel's cross.
Brazilian winger Mancini wasted a glorious opportunity to restore the lead for Roma when his spot kick was blocked by Sporting keeper Tiago three minutes after the interval.
Striker Mirko Vucinic wrapped up the victory for Roma in the 70th minute when he superbly tricked Marat Izmailov near the byline before cutting back inside to hammer the ball into the far top corner.
