Germany, still having a game in hand, are comfortably in charge of Group D with 22 points, leading Czech Republic with two points and five ahead of Ireland. Elsewhere, the top three teams of Group F failed to collect the three points from Saturday's games. Leaders Sweden were held 0-0 at home by Denmark, while second-placed Northern Ireland fell to a 1-0 defeat at Latvia after Chris Baird's 56th minute own goal. Spain salvaged a late draw at Iceland, thanks to substitute Andres Iniesta's 86th equlizer to Emil Hallfredsson's opener for the home side. Sweden remain top with 19 points, three more than Northern Ireland and Spain, who are tied at 16.
