CARIO – The Youth of the Revolution called on Monday night for Prime Minister Essam Sharaf to delay the parliamentary elections, prolonging the transitional period to strengthen the country's NGOs, Al-Youm Al-Sabie reported on Tuesday. They also called on Sharaf to establish a presidential council and a committee to draw up a new constitution. They added that they want the new Foreign Minister, who will replace Nabil el-Arabi, recently elected as the new Arab League chief, to be a veteran diplomat, acceptable to the public.
