CAIRO- The nation's doctors Tuesday started a partial open-ended strike demanding better salaries and working conditions. The strike is limited to outpatient clincs, according to organisers. They said that they would call for one-million march on May 20 for medics at Al Tahrir Square, the iconic epicentre of massive protests that toppled Hosni Mubarak last February. Last week, healthcare professionals staged a day-long strike and threatened escalatory measures. The strikers also demand the Minister of Health be sacked and the ministry's budget be increased by 15 per cent.
