3,682 prisoners pardoned on October War anniversary

CAIRO, Oct 6, 2018 (MENA) - As many as 3,682 prisoners have been pardoned on the anniversary of the October War, said the department of jails of the Interior Ministry on Saturday.
The number included 896 indebted people as part of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's initiative for taking all legal procedure to release such prisoners.
The indebted were freed as their debts had been paid by Tahiya Masr fund and some NGOs, said the Interior Ministry.
