CAIRO, Sept 18, 2018 (MENA) - The Cairo Criminal Court on Tuesday decided to remand Ola Yusuf al Qaradawi, the daughter of Qatar-based terrorist cleric Qaradawi, in custody for 45 days pending investigation on charges of financing terrorism. The defendant faces charges of joining the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group, which aims to obstruct constitutional provisions, defy the government, violate the citizens' personal freedom and harm national unity. She is also accused of providing the terrorist group with financial support from a foreign country with the aim of purchasing firearms and materials for explosive devices.
