KHARGA, Egypt, July 15 , 2018 (MENA) - A potable water refining station was set up in Asmant village in Dakhla in the New Valley at a grant of LE 500,000. The grant was offered by the American University's Research Institute for a Sustainable Environment. The station's production capacity will be 6,000 liters of water daily, Dakhla local official Kamal Ibrahim said in statements on Sunday. The establishment of the station falls within the framework of the governorate's efforts to secure clean drinking water for various parts of the New Valley which lies in the southwestern part of the country.
