Speed Clinic aims to generate EGP 2.8bn revenues during the next year as a result of the medical services it provides to workers expected to travel to rebuild Libya, in addition to those travelling from and to Saudi Arabia in general, and performing Umrah in particular.
The company said in a recent press release that it aims to provide more Coronavirus tests and analyses to combat the spread of the Omicron mutant.
Speed Clinic indicated that it targets about EGP 400m revenues from Coronavirus swabs and about EGP 900m from blood tests necessary for workers from Egypt to Libya, according to contracts signed by the company.
The company has concluded contracts to provide Coronavirus PCRs to travelers and those coming from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, especially those wishing to perform Umrah. The Kingdom had announced that those arriving in it would be allowed to enter directly without a 14-day quarantine required if they submit a negative PCR test.
Speed noted that it provides its services in 23 governorates through 134 branches. It also owns two complexes of medical clinics with about 27 medical specialties, provided by about 140 consultants in those specialties. It is in the process of opening the third branch of integrated medical clinics within weeks.
The company revealed that it is in the process of opening the first phase of the general hospital, which it established on the Cairo-Ismailia Desert Road at a total investment cost of EGP 408m, and about EGP 200m for the first phase, distributed between self-financing for the company, bank financing, and financial leasing.
The company indicated that the total capacity of the hospital is about 140 beds, of which 65 beds are in the first phase, and 75 beds are in the second phase.
