Located in Ras El Hekma, Cali Coast is set to become home to residents in over 2,500 diverse housing units

MAVEN Developments, a sister company of US company the RiverWards Group, has launched the Cali Coast project, located on Egypt's North Coast, with total investments of EGP 15bn.
The launch of the 230 feddan project was announced during a press conference led by Mohamed Rushdy, Managing Partner of Riverwards Group and Vice President and Board Member of MAVEN Developments, and Mohamed Youssef, Chairperson of MAVEN Developments.
Located in Ras El Hekma, Cali Coast is set to become home to residents in over 2,500 diverse housing units, with buildings that occupy only about 13% of the total project space. These units include villas, townhouses, twin houses, and chalets, in addition to serviced apartments designed to meet every need of the modern Egyptian family.
Youssef said that Cali Coast is MAVEN Developments' second project, with the first being Ain Sokhna's Baymount project, which spans an area of 76 feddans and which received total investments of EGP 4bn.
For his part, Rushdy said, "The design of Cali Coast is inspired by the California coastline and its unique vibe, especially in its overwhelming use of palm trees, extensive water surfaces, unique boardwalk, openness and wave related activities."
"Its beach covers 600 metres and an area of 30 feddans, whilst the facades of the integrated serviced housing units and the Boardwalk are inspired by American designers," he added, "We continually study the Egyptian market to identify the renewable needs of customers in an accurate and practical way so that we can provide for them unis with different designs, created in cooperation with the American engineering company AE7."
Rushdy noted that the Cali Coast project's services and facilities are provided by the Spanish company, SOG, for customer convenience and well-being.
The Architectural Consultant and Principal Design Director at AE7, Eric Hokanson, said that the Boardwalk also adds to the commercial and entertainment aspect of the project. It spans over a length of more than 500 metres.
Furthermore, Hokanson added that the project encompasses over 150,000 sqm of open water bodies and lakes throughout the development.
