Telecom Egypt launches 'WE Access' service to SMEs
New service provides comprehensive technical solutions for SMEs and additional data security
Published in Daily News Egypt on 25 - 05 - 2021

Telecom Egypt (TE) has launched the WE Access service to support small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in developing their business and enhancing the digital transformation process.
The service aims to do so by helping companies connect offices and branch sites easily, and with the highest degree of control and data security. This is in addition to providing data analysis services that greatly help in marketing support and development.
We Access provides comprehensive technical solutions for SMEs, alongside additional data security through a smart private wireless network (SMART Wi-Fi) for employees and a public network for visitors.
It also provides companies with the ability to manage over 250 people on each hotspot, with the potential to save thousands of contact points. The service also provides detailed, accurate reports that allow making decisions based on data, and gives the company the ability to interact with customers and understand their behavioural trends.
This understanding contributes to increasing revenues for the business, whilst improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
WE Access is supported by the next generation of Cisco-Meraki firewall, providing protection against harmful content. At the same time, it maintains productivity and compliance with applicable business and regulatory requirements. Automatic VPN technology securely connects branches with an easy-to-use dashboard.
Adel Hamed, Managing Director and CEO of TE, said that the company is constantly working to develop its services, and meet the evolving requirements of its customers.
It also aims to support small SMEs, in a way that contributes to providing new job opportunities across all sectors.
Jason Burnell, Vice President of Cisco Meraki for Global Sales, said that it is necessary to find a way to maintain productivity and raise efficiency.
There is also a need to provide solutions that allow safe and distinguished access to SMEs, in light of the latest global development.
He added that Cisco Meraki for Global Sales seeks to expand into new global markets through its partnership with TE.
