Published in Daily News Egypt on 10 - 02 - 2019

The Housing and Development Bank (HDB) has opened four new branches since the beginning of 2019, bringing the number of its branches to 87 nationwide. The four new branches are equipped with high-tech construction and banking services in the framework of the bank's expansion policy in all governorates.
According to the Deputy Chairperson and Managing Director of the HDB, Hassan Ghanem, the new branches are located in Mahalla Al-Kubra, Abbasiya, Obour City, and Nasr City.
Ghanem added that the opening of these branches comes within the bank's expansion strategy that aims to deliver all its services and products to as many customers as possible in line with the Central Bank of Egypt's (CBE) strategy of financial inclusion.
He explained that the HDB's new branch in Nasr City (Energy Branch) is located behind Al Ahly FC, and it is the bank's third branch in Nasr City. Another branch was opened at the Obour University to serve students, professors, and employees. The bank's new Abbasiya branch is the first in the area to serve its customers.
Ghanem pointed out that the new Mahalla branch is the latest of the bank and is the first branch in the small Delta town, adding that it offers all banking services to the residents using the latest banking technology.
All branches of the bank provide retail and corporate banking services, including personal loans, real estate financing, SME financing, current and savings accounts, saving certificates, deposits, letters of guarantee, and other quality, efficient, and competitive banking services.
