Kayan Egypt opens showroom, service centre for SEAT in Abou Rawash
Cobra sports brand to launch in Egypt in Q4 2018, says El Naggar
Published in Daily News Egypt on 03 - 04 - 2018

Kayan Egypt, SEAT's exclusive dealership in Egypt, opened a new showroom and service centre in the Abou Rawash area in Giza.
The opening was attended by Karim El Naggar, the main shareholder of Kayan Egypt, and Noha El-Meligy, director of SEAT in Egypt, alongside a high-ranking delegation from SEAT International, led by the regional director of SEAT, Jose Maria Garcia.
The event witnessed a strong presence of SEAT dealers and a group of SEAT owners in Egypt.
The new showroom was established with investments of EGP 60m, including a 400-sqm area to accommodate seven cars.
The exhibition also includes an administrative floor of 650 sqm, next to an area designated for SEAT on an area of 3,500 sqm.
During the official celebration, El Naggar said that 2018 will be the year for SEAT in Egypt, given the development of its distribution network by adding new exhibitions and showrooms, along with service centres in Cairo and Giza. He added that new showrooms were also opened in Damietta, Alexandria, and the Red Sea, with the aim of covering most of Egypt and easing access to service for SEAT owners.
He noted that the last quarter of this year will see the launch of the sport brand Cobra for the first time, which will bring a new model of sports car in the next round of Automech Formula.
El Naggar also said that Kayan Egypt's plan to assemble SEAT vehicles in Egypt by 2020 is being considered with the delegation from SEAT.
The assembly, he explained, will cut the prices of SEAT cars in Egypt by 20-30%, even after customs on imported vehicles from Europe drop to 0%.
On the sidelines of the visit, the delegation opened another showroom in Zahraa Maadi, which is established on 160 sqm, enough for three cars.
