Ahmed MagedWriter Alaa El Aswani's latest book "Chicago" was released in French translation on Wednesday. The Egyptian Francophone comunity attended the book signing event, which took place at the French Cultural Center. According to the author, some 75,000 copies of the Arabic version of "Chicago" were sold in less than a year. His debut bestseller "The Yacoubian Building" sold 250,000 copies in four years. /p
