Egypt executes four water, sanitation stations in Minya

Egypt's Housing Ministry announced on Wednesday the implementation of four drinking water and sanitation stations in Upper Egyptian governorate of Minya, at a cost worth 1.818 million Egyptian pounds ($109,792).
The ministry explained that running tests are being conducted for Abu Bakr water station and networks at a cost of 920 million pounds. Cranes are also under construction at a sewage project in Minya worth 565 million pounds.
The ministry added that the project to expand the water purification plant in the new city of Minya is being carried out at a cost of 53 million pounds. The treatment plant in the new city of Minya will also be implemented at a cost of 280 million pounds at the end of 2019.
Also, Ministry of Housing-affiliated Central Agency for Reconstruction established several developmental projects in North Sinai and South Sinai governorates worth 4.8 billion pounds in 2017.
The projects established in North Sinai are implemented at a cost of 3.2 billion pounds and include 19 new developmental Bedouin communities to road projects, schools, and administrative buildings.
