Employers can require staff to work if necessary, but workers must receive double pay or a substitute day off under Labour Law No. 14 of 2025, the ministry said in a statement. The ministry also issued Circular No. 16 of 2025 o ensure the holiday's enforcement, directing regional offices and departments to implement its provisions at workplaces nationwide.
