Egypt's Minister of Labour Mohamed Gobran on Sunday held a meeting with a delegation of business representatives and members of the Egyptian community in Italy to strengthen cooperation and open new job markets for skilled and trained Egyptian workers. The delegation briefed Gobran on the Italian labour market's needs and the professions in demand, as well as proposals to help create job opportunities for Egyptian youth in Italian companies. Gobran highlighted the ministry's efforts to upgrade the vocational training system, equipping young people with skills required both domestically and abroad. He stressed the ministry's readiness to meet the needs of Italian firms, noting that the system also ensures workers' skills are verified and that they are made aware of their rights and duties, safeguarding the interests of both employers and employees.
